Timed Exam
This Timed Exam mode runs every practice question in one category, back-to-back, against a countdown timer — a middle ground between short practice quizzes and the full mock exam. It's useful for building stamina on a single weak area under time pressure before attempting the complete simulation.
The real Civil Service Exam (Professional level) runs 170 items across four categories in one 3-hour-10-minute sitting, and is scored by averaging each category's percentage — a candidate needs an 80% average to pass. AFPSAT runs 150 items across three separately timed sections (Verbal, Numerical, and Abstract Reasoning), each locked once its own timer ends. If you want a session that matches those real conditions exactly, use the full Mock Exam below instead of this per-category timer.
Tip: treat this timed mode like the real thing — no pausing, no looking up answers mid-exam — so the number you see at the end reflects what you'd actually score on exam day.

These cover every section in one sitting, matching the real exam's structure and length — separate from the per-category timed exam above.
